We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel am Scholssberg in Ziegenrueck. The property has a 1960s DDR feel to it, although not in a bad way. We were allocated a two bedroom suite on the third floor. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well equipped and had a balcony looking out over the river. The hotel restaurant is large with a reasonably extensive dinner menu. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Would have liked to have stayed longer but we were only there for one night. Will definitely return sometime in the future.
