visited nearby Cochem several times and stayed at this hotel 3 times .always a great welcome and the food has to be tried to be believed !! going again end of july 2010. travelled on motorcycles previously and have had no problems as long as not too noisy because "bernard" has a young family !! park the bikes in the... The family run Schneemann hotel is nestled in a beautiful village and if you are looking for a hotel that is great for walkers, sightseeing or just chilling out, then look no further. Set back on the vine clad valley side in the village of Valwig just over the river from Cochem. Valwig is a village of a dozen or so small hotels and restaurants. It is quiet, no tourist shops.
