Pascal and Emmanuel were great hosts. He had the charm and she was very helpful to us. We were three in one room, 2 beds. It may have been their last available room, 'cos it was like a 2 star motel room. Other rooms may have been more special. Breakfast was beaut, the village is nice, lovely botanic-style garden out... Based on the descriptive on a well-known Internet hotel reservation site, we booked Les Charmes. Unfortunately, that descriptive and associated photos were not those of the hotel and room that we had. The overall exterior of the hotel reflected a real need for some refreshing--it shows its age. The room we were given was in poor condition, paint cracking and... More

We spotted "Les Charmes' last year when planning this year's assault on Burgundy. What a great choice! The welcome from the hard working and attentive owners could not have been better. The rooms (we had the 'comfort' rooms in the main building) retained their period features and were spacious and clean, although accessed by stone spiral steps ... quite wide... More

This is the best place to stay if visiting Meursault. We had two "comfort" rooms and they were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were in need of updating (this is due to be done this winter) but the toiletries were of a higher than average standard. There is a shady garden with sunloungers, tables and chairs, the ideal place to... More

This is a lovely hotel and is dog friendly. They have a nice garden and pool, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only drawback was our bathroom was not of a high standard and could use a renovation (e.g., bath with no shower curtain). As the rooms face the main area where people can drive in, it... More

A perfect stay! Why? * Prices are good * Clean rooms * Good service, and they speak english. * Good safe parking * Cosy room with a beautiful toilette * Our standard double room was big and included refrigerator and safe. *central location in the little town. They also had a pool and the garden looked nice. Our small complains:... More

We detoured to Meursault on a one day visit following a recommendation. Both the hotel and Meursault were well worth a short visit. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The owners speak English and are helpful and friendly. Probably all you want in a small town hotel for a short visit. More

This trip was undertaken to celebrate my partners 40th birthday. The intention was to visit some of the regions great wine producing towns and villages including Epernay and Chablis. Prior to the trip I knew that Mersault was my partners favourite tipple, so, following a quick peep on trip advisor I booked one of the "Grand Cru" rooms for 2... More

Postives: Charming old hotel in charming old wine village, well worth a visit for a short stopover Negatives: Rooms are old, carpets could do with replacing and inm general needs redecorating. Overall: Good for a stopover, perhaps not a longer stay. More
