Friendly, welcoming and helpful. A pleasing and unpretentious hotel offering good value accommodation. The jewel in the crown is the restaurant. We had a beautiful meal, accompanied by excellent local wines. Secure garage is a bonus. Thoroughly recommended. More

We arrived at this hotel "on spec" - no booking, because we were let down by another hotel. We were made very welcome by the owners. The room was large, very clean. There is also a large garage beneath the terrace which was important to us. We chose the "seasonal" menu. It was excellent! Thoroughly recommend this hotel. More

On an ideal location with super parking/garage in the middle of famous vineyards and lovely contryside the CHEF cooks great food against fair prices! Staff is friendly and makes you feel like a guest should! Our room was OK but not that impressive and the electric light was not enough and makes the room dark. Maybe the other rooms are... More

Efficient, welcoming staff. Dogs allowed. Clean, basic and comfortable rooms. Slightly tatty outer appearance - but do not be deceived: you eat exceptionally well here. Varied and interesting menu with the wine list to be expected in this village. Dining here is a must - we look forward to returning. Good location in the village. Covered car parking and not... More

We stayed on our return to the coast. Very good. Our room was very modern and a good size. The evening meal, which we had outside, was good, but a little overpriced. However, the service was excellent. Breakfast was fine, but small and typically french. The village is worth wandering around and the roof of the Town Hall similarly tiled... More

Stayed one night on way back to ferry. Village very nice. Room very nice overlooking the Chateau. Excellent dinner, unhurried, booked out on the monday night....surely a good sign. Breakfast similar to most french hotels but with that little touch like their own home-made yougurt. Very, very nice. We will be back. More

Front of house Evelyn was a friendly welcoming face when we arrived at the end of a rather damp walk. Our room wasn't huge but beautifully presented - v clean, stylish, and with everything we needed. Great shower. When we went back downstairs, our walking boots had vanished, which I must admit, we panicked about. When asked, Evelyn replied "Oh,... More
