this was the second time for me to stay in this resort! It's a very nice and spotless resort with an exceptional surrounding. Grundlsee is close to major attractions, like Salzburg, Hallstatt etc. You can also rent a bike from the resort and bike around Grundlsee and go to Toplitzsee. That's also a very nice lake. After staying for a week in this beautiful and breathtaking view resort we know we will return. We enjoyed the many activities, their little grocery store, the indoor pool, sauna and mainly their very friendly staff. Our many questions were answered politely and quickly. Even if the facilities were excellent (it was very clean and intact) the service was terrible. They even asked to check the studio where we stayed for 5 days in case we have damaged anything. Apart from that the view to the lake is excellent and it is highly recommended to visit this hotel if you dont care about politeness. more
