The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was fine. Be aware that there's little to do in the area and few places to eat. It was fairly convenient to the marina which I went Scuba diving from, and about 1/2 hour from the rainforest. The rooms don't keep sound out though, so you not only hear the frogs(which I was... it's limited. It's hard to find but If you pass the Jungle Bar you're on the right road. TV in the lounge only (I hope you like CNN), WiFi is secured after 2100. We had a good bed (Room #1) and things were very neat and clean but I soon found that the shower ran cold. We were there two... More

This place is a gem. It is very private, up a long, steep drive. There is a wonderful patio where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast (included) of whatever is seasonal, fresh from the property, or the fancy of the proprietor that day. It is all excellent. The view through the mountain across the valley to the ocean and Culebra... More

Two families stayed here together, each in a separate room. We really enjoyed the forest setting, the frog songs all night, and the lovely breakfast with fresh bread and fruit every morning. We appreciated Michael's advice -- he sent us to some really good restaurants! The setting is amazing, but it's pretty hard to find -- get a good map... More

We spent three nights at the Ceiba Country Inn. The room was simple, clean and very comfortable. We loved leaving the windows open at night to hear the coquis singing--so peaceful. The property is beautiful, with great views--and many spots to sit and enjoy them, including right outside our room. Breakfasts are simple and filling, with fruit, cereals, and breads,... More

There's a reason my husband and I usually prefer bed and breakfasts to hotels. You get to experience what the locals experience and you get to meet some awesome people who you'd probably never talk to if you were just passing them in an elevator inside some chain hotel. First off, this place is in an excellent location. The views... More

My friend and I took an 8 day trip around the island, and the Ceiba Country Inn was my favorite place to stay! Nestled between El Yunque Tropical Rain Forest and the ocean, the inn has magnificent views of both the mountains with their constant cloud movement and the distant ocean from the common balcony and from some of the... My sister and I stayed at Ceiba in November while on a trip to Puerto Rico. We stayed for 2 nights and we certainly loved the place. It is so quiet and peaceful and set in an absolutely stunning location. It made a great base for exploring El Yunque as well as the the Bio Bay and the beaches on... More

It is a great base if you want to explore El Yunque or as a stopover to Culebra or Vieques. Rooms are perfectly clean and bed is very comfortable. They provide you with a fridge so be sure to bring wine or beer to enjoy the sunset on the lovely terrace overlooking the green hills and water beyond. The hosts... More
