We stayed here for a short weekend. It is located very centrally in Skye, close to Sligachan and therefore convenient for seeing the island (if you have a car).

We arrived , shattered, after a monumental expedition of combined 20 mile hike and 30 mile cycle, looking like nothing on earth, and were welcomed warmly and with good humour two hours later than planned. Loved our stay at Crossal House. Beautiful views from all directions. Easy to find. Very friendly and helpful host. The room was clean and cosy and the breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the hills.

Stayed one night in Crossal House
Room: Good-sized with nice views. No TV in room, but there is in the sitting room downstairs.
Location: Out-of-the way place, very quiet and peaceful despite of being close to road.
Rate: OK
