After we entered our rooms we asked to use the microwave, what she allowed us, also she offered us to use the fridge. The rooms were the cleanest we have ever seen in a B&B, they were... More

I travelled with my wife and two friends on a music tour of the Highlands, Location is lovely, elevated above Loch Carron with views across the loch to the mountains beyond. Decor and furnishings are to a very high standard and as we say here "you could eat your dinner off the floor! Best shower I've had in a long... More

This was our second visit to Loch Dubh guest house in Lochcarron. The service there has been superb both times. We booked in 2010 because it had disabled access. The room we stayed in then had a patio with a superb view. It was a luxury to sit out with our morning coffee and enjoy the view. This year we... More

Loch Dubh is truly amazing. The views from the bedroom of Loch Carron were only surpassed by the view from the two storey windows in front of the breakfast table. The breakfast itself was excellently prepared and presented too. When you look for a B&B you always hope it will be as good as this. This time our wish came... More

After a long tiring journey we were warmly greeted and made very welcome to their beautiful home by Emma. Our room had views to die for from all angles ! Loch Dubh proved an ideal base for a week's hillwalking in the Lochcarron area. 3 of us shared the spotless and comfortable family room on the first floor, with fantastic views over the loch and hills beyond. The en suite bathroom had a plentiful supply of hot water for showers after our walks. Hearty breakfasts were taken again overlooking those... More
