We stayed there in August 2008. Rooms are tidy and size wise o.k. Very good food is offered for reasonable prices. At night we could relax in the associated pub. Service was very attentive and our children were welcome. Good value for your money! more
A dissapointing weekend spent at this Hotel. The twin bedded room was very small (about 1ft between beds) the ensuite was very basic with an old metal shower cabinet which was less than adequate. No TV in the room, the room was not cleaned, serviced or replenished after the first night. The evening meal was uninspiring, basic and I feel... more
part of the same group as chancedog as said before group booking which half didnot turn up menu adgusted acordingly were upset because we would not allow them to bring in there own Beer
Just stayed in the hotel for a weekend. Shared a twin room which was just about big enough for one proper size single bed. Unable to properly open small wardrobe as the door opens the wrong way into the room and access is restricted by the small chest of drawers. Beds uncomfortable, en-suite had a shower that you couldn't stand... more
While myself and our staff try our best to please all our visitor's. this is not always possible this chap was part of a group who had booked the hotel stating there was up two 22 people coming 8 turned up! we had adjusted the menu to deal with 22 people ! yes the room they were in is compact...
wonderfull little pub good food good beer walking fishing and amazing views loved the break will be back more
