A delightful old property, with stunning gardens located in the beautiful historic village of Evershot. We only stayed for one night when touring the area, but wish we had booked in for longer. Barry and Jan only purchased the property last year, and are working hard to provide excellent hospitality, and spacious accommodation with good quality furnishings.

Our room was huge, and included a sofa and spacious ensuite. We also had access to a large lounge which was equipped with books and magazines. Barry kindly gave us a tour of the property and the other rooms, which were gorgeous.

The village of Evershot was a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of modern life, with quaint cottages, and the historic Acorn Inn. Barry recommended the “Fox and Hounds” in neighbouring Cattistock for an evening meal. The quality and quantity of their traditional pub food couldn’t be faulted!
