Don't understand all the positive reviews? We found this to be everything you would not want for a meal out. Cold surroundings, unhelpful staff and worst of all food that is definitely not local, fresh or expertly cooked. It was reminiscent of a bad school dinner. If you are looking for somewhere clean, with refreshing beers and ciders, good quality local well cooked food, then don't come here !. Back agian as working in the area once again the hotel supplied the goods super food super bar drinks once again the hotel is of an old fashioned style so not to modern some would say it is in need of updating but it meets all my requirments the showers rooms are a good size and plenty of hot water...
