The Upper Greek House is perched on hill overlooking the small town of Mustafapasa. Surrounding towns are packed with giant tour busses and swarms of visitors, but this village has kept its character in this must see part of Turkey The rooms are made of stone quarried from local volcanic rock and are very quiet. The staff is very helpful... More

Each room of the Upper Greek House is so unique with traditional Turkish furnishings that you feel you are staying in a home. While some of the bathrooms were obviously added to make a home a B&B and require a little awkward stepping up or down into them, I think it adds to the charm of the place. The hostess... More

We recently spent 2 nights at Upper Greek House, a tranquil spot filled with birdsong. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The manager, Dee, is a Turkish-American with fluent English and an understanding of American requirements. The food at Old Greek House, their 'town' restaurant, was wonderful. The proprietor's wife is the cook and she makes delicious homecooked, traditional... More

A wonderful experience to stay in the Upper Greek House as well as dinner in the Lower Greek House. I was struck by the beauty of the architecture and was warmly greeted by staff. Breakfast was delightful with the homemade goodies. Room was well suited for someone like myself who likes a clean comfortable bed and well appointed room. I... More

Very well appointed and quiet rooms. The staff is excellant and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic with homemade yogurt and different organic fruits and cheese - and great bread. Be sure and eat dinner at the Greek House. The owners wife is the chef and the food was some of the best we ate in Turkey! They provded a shuttle to... More

We spent two nights here in September 2011 and had a lovely experience. The hotel is owned and operated by the people at the Old Greek House down the hill. The rooms are large and very well appointed and the bathrooms very modern. Our room was huge and really did feel a bit like it was carved out of the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during a recent trip. The hotel has been wonderfully restored and the view over the village of Mustafapasa is amazing. It is close enought to Goreme for the hot air balloon rides in the morning. The breakfast we had was the best I had in Turkey and the staff were excellent in their service... More

Who knew I could feel so at home in central Anatolia? The staff was warm and welcoming from the start, and their communical living/dining room area was a great place to connect with other travelers looking to swap stories. Be sure not to miss breakfast and some of Emine's fantastic home-made jams! More

We stayed recently in the Upper Greek House and couldn't have been more pleased. It is located above the old village of Mustafapasa in a quiet location with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, but still only a short walk to town. The rooms have all been beautifully renovated but still have the character of an old boutique hotel. The... More

Our stay in the Kaya Suite was superb. We found our room to be spacious and very comfortable. The stand out was the staff. Never been anywhere that the staff was as attentive to our needs, from taking in our bags to preparing and serving breakfast. The view from the roof of the surrounding countryside was also a highlight. More
