This is a great place to eat a meal, Great restaurant with good food, and lost of variety. The most helpful staff we found in all of Ireland. The owner went our of his way to help us find a place to stay for the night. Can't say enough kind words. Stop in if you want good food and friendly... More

This is definitely the place to stay while in this little port town. The Pub is great. The main restaurant was a little over priced but nice none the less. Friendly staff. The room was quiet and clean. More

Beautiful rooms, very clean and comfortable with magnificant views. We had dinner in The Moorings Restaurant which was fabulous. Portions are very generous. For main course my husband had the monkfish and I had the seafood linguine, both were delicious so "top marks" to the chef/s!! The owners and staff are very friendly and very welcoming and you can feel... More

The Moorings is in the centre of the small village of Portmagee, half way on the Ring of Kerry, and a great place to stop for the night. Weather permitting, boats go out to the Skellig Islands. The Moorings is part of the Bridge hotel. We stayed in a front superior room, which had great views of the little harbour... More

Accommodation outstanding, views to die for and have never been made feel more welcomed than at the Moorings. The Management and Staff are so professional but more importantly so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are gorgeous and meticuously clean and fresh. Breakfast must be experienced to be appreciated, best ever. The restaurant also must be experienced as the food was... More

The Moorings is a fine guesthouse, from which to base yourself for trips around the Uíbh Ráthach (Iveragh) peninsula, and especially to visit the Skellig Islands. It's very comfortable and the food is excellent, if a bit pricy. Great choice for breakfast, including the usaul full Irish, but also kippers or lemon sole...wow! More

This was a warm and comfortable hotel/guesthouse which was just as well as we had rain the three days we stayed there! The misery of the weather was more than made up for by the excellent hospitality my group enjoyed at the hands of the staff. Every effort was made to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The food... My husband and I stayed at The Moorings while on a tour of Ireland. The guesthouse was lovely, although our room was at the back of the building and overlooked the alleyway and overheard the kitchen/pub activities. The bed was comfortable, however, with shower ensuite and all expected room amenities. We ate in both the restaurant (pre-Skelligs) and pub (post-Skelligs)... More

We stayed at the Moorings last Thurs/Fri and we loved it. We went all out and dined at the Restuarant twice, the food was divine and the staff are outstanding. So accommodating, I wanted a small small taste of beetroot soup - even though I didnt want to order it - not a problem. The accommodation was lovely, the weather... More

Nice little village, the "hotel" in a good location. My room was dirty, there were no towels. The food was ok, but overprieced. More
