Dad's are often put under pressure...just go and book a holiday. This is quite a task keeping a family happy Mum and 2 kids (early teens). What I wanted was County Clare, kayaking for the kids, scenerey for my lovely lady wife and then worry about somewhere to stay! Well Googling found me this piece of heaven; Kayaks and stunning... To all coarse anglers. For over 30 years I have travelled the length and breadth of Ireland, and have fished nearly every river and lake in the country. However in 2011 I stayed with Dorothy and her family at Clondanagh Cottage and was provided with the best fishing advice and guidance I have ever been given. Nothing was too much... More

My husband and I stayed at Clondanaugh Cottage for 4 nights in Sept. 2011.Everything was wonderful! Dorothy and her family were the kindest, sweetest and warmest hosts that we have ever met. Dorothy spent lots of time with us; taking us on a tour of the farm; showing us all about the fishing equipment; and telling us great places to... More

We chose this B&B as it was near my brother-in-law's property (near Feakle). With 2 animal mad daughters (age 4 & 9) this beat hands-down, any other contenders. And being Australian, anything connected to a "Minogue" is a winner too! What Dorothy's wardrobe lacked in gold hot pants, she made up with expansive hospitality! Due to family committments, we had... More

My son and I have just returned from a long fishing week end in Ireland. Our base was Clondanagh Cottage in Clare run by Dorothy Minogue-Landers. Tench were our main target and we had planned where we would fish well beforehand. We expected a fair amount of travelling to the various lakes but we were pleasantly surprised just how well... More

This is my second stay with Dorothy an Michael and they made both my brother and myself feel as though we was coming back home. The rooms are spotless stylishly decorated and very inviting. Dorothys breakfasts are legendary as is the hospitality we received. Her knowledge and contacts regarding angling in and around Co Clare is invaluable and has helped... More

My wife and I took this trip with two purposes in mind, first and foremost was to relax and get away from the stress of life, and secondly was to enjoy a spot of fishing. We spent 7 nights at this wonderful location which is a short drive from Tulla centre, to which you then arrive at the tranquil Clondanagh... More

Stayed at this B&B because of some of the reviews here and because it was handy for the Burren and some great traditional music in the area. I can only concur with previous reviewers that this is a great B&B run by a really friendly family who will show you real Irish hospitality. We'll definitely be back one day as... More

My husband and I are looking for land in Ireland and stayed at Clondangh Cottage for 4 nights. At the end of our stay we felt we were friends with the whole family and all the animals. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast, loving animals, rescued horses and cats not to mention 12 donkeys that love ginger snap cookies. It is... More
