Stayed for two nights on our recent tour of Corsica. Very welcoming landlady, basic room with tiny bathroom but comfortable. Ate in the restaurant both nights, very good quality food and presentation, set menu reasonably priced at €22.50 for 3 courses but only two choices each course. Room very dirty and very small. Hotel service: ZERO. No help with baggage (3rd floor, no elevator) - I am quite young, big and no problem for me. Forget all the romantic stuff about this hotel being one of the oldest in Corsica etc, it is an out and out dump! Not really surprising therefore that "The Rough Guide" says that if all other hotels in the area are full there will always be rooms available at "Le Torrent"!!
