I was travelling with family and overall experience was excellent. My kid enjoyed the playground and food as well. Service was excellent from their team and manager - Mr. Umesh More. He was very kind and always helpful to look after the overall arrangement. Planning to visit again, it is not costly either. Thanks for the service

We had booked 4 Ellite cottage rooms at Hotel Regal Woodside Mahabaleshwar with family and children's along with us. The Hotel rooms were kept ready and also it was neat and tidy. Rooms were quiet bigger in size. Bathrooms were quiet bigger in size and had bath tub attached which our children enjoyed a lot. We were provided with swing outside the room which we enjoyed for seating everyday. They had a good lawn area near our rooms . Housekeeping service was done daily and staff were friendly nature and they provided all required materials on time. The best part was it's pure veg kitchen, We had AP plan which included all meals they had a very good options for food all time with a good spread and different varieties. The kitchen staff were also freindly and they served us Jain food on our request. The Hotel is about 1 km away from main market or hardly 10 mins by walk which is away from hustle bustle area of main market.…

Hotel regal is very nice hotel,it is 15 to 20 min distance from market, only in night its not possible to go out in market from hotel(but taxi is there for market),but not required to go out from hotel, buz hotel preimses is good to be insid only and enjoy the nigt round ,relax near swiming pool ,or in jhula, its feel relax and romantic feel.Food all over is good and staff too. Its my advice only for non ac room pls put grill out the window, buz due to monkey we can open the window which feel suffucate for some time. best place for children to enjoy. but over all regal hotel is very nice place to stay and to enjoy....next time we can visit.

This hotel is haunted. Not safe. Staff ain't very well. Service quality is very poor. No proper reception attendants. No network available inside the room. Felt unnatural activities and negative vibes from the hotel.

Response from Regal Woodside R, General Manager at Treebo Trend Regal Woodside Retreat
Responded 8 Dec 2019
Sir We have been serving our clients since the past 50 years and it has been only for the patronage received by our customers that we have survived for so long. We try and give the best of services to our clients however we certainly would face few limitations. Over a period of time we have been improving and improving our services as per the needs of the clients. We have gone through your review posted on trip advisor. We would appreciate if you had mentioned your name , date of stay and other details so as we could find out the authenticity of your review. Stating that our resort is a "haunted " place and we carry out " unnatural activities" seems like an attempt to tarnish our goodwill and image that has been created for so many years. We would request TripAdvisor to kindly put in meaures where in person has a proof of having been stayed in the hotel before he/she can post any review. Such balant lies affect both the resort and the review platform as people will start losing its trust. We strongly condemn such a unreal review.

I had been to this hotel almost 10 years ago or even earlier and it was a nice property that time. We had a good stay for 2N/3D including food. Not sure if I had written any reviews as I was not a reviewer that time on any sites. We happened to visit same hotel last month as a big group of 4 families and my experience was pathetic. I do not know the type of our rooms but it was in a small 2 story building one right side of the entrance (facing hotel). Actually hotel has a big premises with some landscaping but other than that I feel there is absolutely no maintenance being carried out other that daily house keeping. Rooms are spacious but smelly. Bedsheets and comforters did not had a fresh feel. Towels were horrible. Bathroom stinks with drain water smell. Surprisingly our door bell button was inside the house keeping room. In-short possibly nothing was changed for last 10+ years. Same seems to be the case with dining area. Its furniture is very old and does not give a feeling of cleanliness or hygiene. There is an outside seating area which is usually used in summer for dinner. It has age old plastic chairs which are half broken and remaining can break any time. Overall a huge casualness for a hospitality sector. Food (strictly vegetarian) was Ok but not great. Lunch and dinner was OK but breakfast definitely needs improvement in spread / quality and presentation. I tried giving this feedback to a possibly supervisor kind of person during my stay but seems he was not very keen. So overall a bad stay at a not very budget price point. Will not stay again unless they renovate entire hotel. Not sure and not seen but based on review Cabana rooms looks little better. But we couldn’t upgrade as they were full.…
