We visited Llanmihangel house for our annual get-together with friends and enjoyed a sit down meal for 12. The house is amazing and steeped in history. It was the perfect setting for a post new year meal with roaring open fire to welcome us. Dave and Sue were perfect hosts and the meal was both reasonable and delicious! I fully... More

We were at a wedding at the Vale hotel nearby and a local friend recommended Plas to us. On arrival, we were surprised at the beautiful building and grounds. Lovely owners who were kind and helpful throughout. Rooms quirky and really interesting, we stayed in one side of the castle. Loads of interesting nooks and crannies. I would say in... More

My brother and I spent 2 nights at Plas Llanmihangel last month and absolutely loved it. The house is amazing! It's like stepping back in time. We were fortunate enough to have our own "wing" while we there. Two bedrooms with a bathroom to ourselves and our own little hallway. The furnishings and knickknacks in the rooms made me feel... My mother and I stayed one night in September at Plas Llanmihangel and were very glad to have experienced it. To stay in a medieval manor house, originally built in the 12th century, is an opportunity that doesn't arise every day, and the home was everything we expected. The room was clean and comfortable, and Sue and David were both... More

We've just had an intimate wedding celebration with Sue and David and everything exceeded our expectations - the wedding supper, champagne breakfast, ambience, hospitality - nothing was too much. Highly recommended - don't hesitate. More

This is a classic medieval house and you can stay in it. If you have the slightest interest in history you will love this place. The sitting room is a medieval hall (no I'm not kidding) albeit with more modern side fireplaces put in. But if you shut your eyes you could see the central hearth and the knights and... More

Plas Llanmihangel greatly exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Dave & Sue, welcomed us into their home as if we were long-lost friends. We were given an entire wing of the manor house for our family of five. We even had our own sitting room. I felt as if I should be wearing an elegant gown while drinking my tea, rather... More
