Excellent hosts, Glyn and June, offer warm Welsh hospitality. Bryn-y-Ddafad Country Guest House was the best lodging of our 8-day tour of Wales. Breakfast offerings were exceptional and well prepared. Our room accommodation was wonderful with outstanding views from every room! This Cowbridge location offers rest and relaxation in a beautiful, natural setting! more

Me and my partner stayed here for a couple of nights as we were in the area for a wedding. We had the Marissa room which was immaculately clean. The shower was very good with plenty of hot water and the bed very comfortable. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and all of the food was delicious. The... more

I am fed up of hotels and b&b that rip you off and insist you stay for min 2 nights because there is a concert on. It's like florists charging double on valentines day.... Rip off, and we should put up with more

We have stayed with June and Glyn many times over the past few years when visiting family in Cardiff. The accomodation is excellent, beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned daily. We have occasionally stayed in other B&B's in the area but none have matched June and Glyns' standards and we now arrange our visits for when we know... more

Recently spent a few days in this wonderful location. The accommodation is in a delightful area with wonderful views. It is tranquil, but places of interest and places to eat are within easy travelling distance. There is plenty to do in the area and the owners are a wealth of useful information regarding local sights and places to visit. They... more

A previous review, and those on other sites, say Bryn-y-Ddafad is difficult to find. It isn't, if you follow the owners' comprehensive instructions and/or the map on their website (www.bydd.co.uk) - or simply follow the brown tourist signs from the village. [NOTE: Entering the postcode into Googlemaps or Multimap shows a slightly incorrect location, which can be very confusing.] The... more

Warm welcome and excellent breakfast. Bedroom and en suite cleaned daily. B&B sited in open countryside with good views from bedroom, lounge and dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again when in the area. Bruce & Lynn Ashbourne more

We have just (November 2006) had a great stay at a B&B 25 minutes drive from Cardiff. Very quiet location. Very well equipped and very friendly service. We paid £70 per night for the two of us for accommodation including a full breakfast. Our accommodation was self-catering but breakfast was available (for breakfast virtually anything you might want was available... more
