My wife and i stayed here in mid April 2012 in a cabin up on the hill with free car park. Staff spoke english which is appreciated, friendly enough. This place has its own eatery and mini mart if you want snacks or a drink. To get into the heart of Firenze buy a bus ticket at reception and walk... More

Me and my girlfriend have been there for two nights in last June. It seems far away, but there is a comfortable bus that brings you straight to the heart of Florence (public bus, unfortunately the camping does not offer bus service to downtown). The place was full of Dutch (the kings of camping) and Americans in their twenties -... More

This camping was told to be noisy and over-crowded and we found out that it was peacefull, not that crowded and VERY clean ! We've appreciated the shop, the restaurant with the bar and the fact that the bus stop is not too far and is very handy to go to Florence. We'll go there again when we're around. Christian... More

We stayed in what they call "mobile home" . Sort of a Cabin or transportable. Very Clean. 55 Euro a night for two including bedding and a/c. Nice park, not far from florence. There is a direct bus to Florence with the last one at 11.30pm. When we rang to book, the man was very helpful and gave us road... More

My wife and I stayed in a "Twin Private Ensuite" for two nights as a part of an extended road trip. As such, we had our car and bicycles with us. This is helpful because the camp is probably too far from the Florence city center for most tastes - although buses appear to be a suitable means of transport.... More

We had booked for a week in a chalet with air-con. We found the trek to city centre fine (6mins walk and 20mins by bus) but the times that we were given were wrong! (And buy a card rather than single tickets!). We did not stay to eat as we found the food overpriced. Instead we ate at the local... More

So far it was the worst place I have stayed in Italy; it was also the most expensive camping I've seen there. The location is not as good as the website claims: to get to the historic center of Florence you need either to drive for about 15-20 minutes to the parking and then walk for another half an hour,... We come from Slovenia. We decided to explore the Toscany a little bit more and went there for 2 weeks. This was our first camp we stayed in. The staff was very friendly. They even called to the Uffizi gallery and booked for us the tickets on our request. They helped us with every question we had (about the bike... More

We stayed here for two nights in early June in one of their chalets. The site was still very quiet, we had virtually a whole section of it to ourselves. Its a large site and very steep in places. The restaurant is fine, there are a lot of washing and drying facilities, the reception has that air of being aimed... More

Dear mad194, Thank you for your comment! The bus stop is actually 500m from the campsite entrance, and now it is completely paved! :) We can understand that last year was different :) The campsite is 5km from the center of Florence. The campsite gate is open at 7:30 a.m., the reception at 8:00 a.m., and everything is written on... More

Nothing special - as campgrounds go - although finding it can be quite the challenge. Hidden away in the hills south of Florence, adjacent to (but not accessible from) the city's ring-road, tree-sheltered hilltop tenting sites, very nice swimming pool, and lots of ConTiki buses to keep the party atmosphere alive throughout the night. Campground is a dusty 600m walk... More
