We stayed at this hotel in 2006 and it was wonderful, great pools and a very, very good restaurant. We have just been back to Sorrento and thought we'd drop in for a drink when driving to Amalfi. The hotel is closed - completely shut. The water in the pools is very green and weeds are sprouting everywhere, palms in... More

Booked Furore Inn for an upcoming honeymoon, after repeated efforts to get in contact with the hotel, I found out through Small Luxury Hotels that the Furore Inn and Spa is having financial problems and is not open. If you have any reservation upcoming change it! More

Went for a honeymoon and it was the most overpriced hotel we've ever stayed in. Paid £25 for burger and chips! Eeriily quiet like a ghost town and most staff don't seem to have a voice. They walk silently and formally round the building. Bathroom smelt awful. The shower curtains had mould. Jacuzzi in room didn't work, if you miss... More

Last summer we ( 2 adults and a 10 y.o.daughter) spent 5 days at Furore at very good price, which I found on the hotel"s website. We booked a room and got a suite with 2 terraces! During the high season"s hustle-bustle If you searched for a peaceful beautiful well kept hotel with stunning pools and really courteous staff choose... More

A little gem among the Amalfi Coast towns, and a convenient base to explore the Amalfi Coast (without paying an arm and a leg for a room). Definitely eat at the hoteol restaurant too as it is very good. We really enjoyed the personal attention of the hotel's team and this is where we'd love to stay again next time... More

Actually stayed in April 2009 but computer didn't go any earlier. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We purchased through Luxury Link. Upon arrival we were treated like a king and queen and the staff never stopped going out of their way for us. When we commented that we had to go to Sorrento to... More

Staff at the Furore Inn went above and beyond to make our short stay really pleasant. We loved the food in the restaurant - they even made special substitutions for my husband who is allergic to gluten. The pools are wonderful, especially in the late afternoons overlooking the tremendous view. Great location for day trips to nearby scenic villages. We... More

I had booked and rebooked this reservation about six times so when we finally arrived I expected snarky looks and a room over the trash compactor. Instead I was greated like a beloved but whimsical family member. "You have come at last:!" . So this is where it is: carved into a cliff overlooking the sea. Three pools although I... More

Having stayed here twice in two years, this is a secret I would prefer to keep to myself! It's a slice of heaven, tranquil, picturesesque and a real tonic to life at home. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the views are to die for and the food in the restaurant is magnificent, with staff whose advice we both... More

Stayed for 3 days at the end of Sept. Unfortunately the weather was hit or miss;some rain and cloudy days but also some sunshine. The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful breakfast in a dining room that is charming, and when the sun is out you can eat on the terrace. The... More
