This central restaurant in the walled town of Montreuil has six rooms above it. There is in fact no reception - thus you have to frustratingly wait until the restaurant opens at 6pm to 'check in', but they give you a code so after arrival you can come and go. The rooms and public areas are odd in that they all look maintained by a very bad DIYer, so locks fall off and there are raw brackets, unfinished wood and odd finishes everywhere. However its cheap and the hot water is hot and the rooms are cosy and warm (esp in January), and if you want a town centre base to camp out, its good and worth a visit for a few days. more
