Staying at Fuego Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. We were on our honeymoon and stayed in the "penthouse suite." When we arrived, the suite was decorated with flowers was impeccably clean. The suite became our home away from home for 10 days. The pool was the cleanest pool we have ever seen! The owners, Barbara and Itay, work hard... More

Had a great time in Santa Teresa. Good waves, good food, friendly people. The Fuego Lodge is a nice place to stay, within walking distance to one of the best beaches and restaurants, and the outdoor shower and pool to rinse off after a surf. The pool was great after a burnout surf session. Owners Barb and Itay were super... More

Believe what you read in the reviews here. Fuego Lodge is a great place to stay! My daughter and I had one of the poolside suites. It was spacious for the two of us and very clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and we spent more time hanging out by the pool than I expected. The lodge is conveniently... More

After reading so many great reviews about Fuego, we were pretty sure we were going to like it, but what really stands out among all the other things is Barbara, the owner. To begin, she was really great about communicating before we arrived and helping us figure out which rooms to take (we had nine people total.) The 9 of... More

Fuego Lodge is truly paradise. The rooms are beautiful and open. The balconies are equipped with wonderful hammocks. The pool is pristine. The grounds are lush and green. Bard and Itay are always around, super helpful, and a friendly, fun loving couple. I had the most amazing experience at Fuego Lodge. I planned on travelling around the pacific coast for... More

I stayed at the Fuego Lodge for two weeks in late December early January. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable experience. The property is beautifully set on a slope of land just off the main street in Santa Teresa; a grocery store conveniently located at the foot of the driveway. I shared the third floor suite and instantly... More

We had the good fortune of choosing to stay at Fuego Lodge for our long weekend in Santa Teresa. The hotel grounds are lovely, lush and well-maintained. Our two-bedroom, two-story apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable visit and the air conditioning was a welcome amenity. My two children loved the pool. It was made for small children and... More

Thank you Barbara, Itai, Eden and Sofi for an amazing vacation. Barbara and Itai have created a wonderful place for families. They provided countless recommendations for restaurants and activities (fishing, massage, beaches to visit) and helped us to coordinate everything. I am extremely picky when it comes to spa visits and Barbara scheduled phenomenal massages at Tropico Latino with the... More
