My boyfriend and I stayed at Native Lounge on Fernando in March 2008 and loved it. As a hostel, it was cheap and our room was nice with a shower and toilet. I loved my first trip to Brazil and the highlight was definitely getting the chance to visit Fernando de Noronha. Apparently, this pousada is called Native Lounge, but since the name hasn’t yet been registered, it’s known in Noronha as Your Way. I contacted them, and they replied back, and told me that they have a place, quite simple, with some rooms and shared spaces. We started running this house because backpackers were looking for our help in order to find a cheap and laid-back place to stay as the majority of accommodations on the island are overpriced. There has never been any hostels on the island, and backpackers were always shocked to find the budget category starting at over R$220. We offer English assistance and commaderie with other travelers over fancy sheets and bathtubs. The majority of our guests are easy-going, self-sufficient travelers who love the atmosphere.
