An amazing medieval building in a beautiful location opposite Dorchester's historic Abbey. But that's pretty much where it ends. The service veers from incompetent to unhelpful. The George is a beautiful coaching inn. Staff are welcoming and attentive, rooms are spotless and the food, both in the evening and at breakfast, was exceptional. The bar has a great atmosphere, just as a pub should be. Would have loved to have stayed longer but they were fully booked. Will definately return More
