Stayed 2 nights after walking the wall with our 2 younger sons. Treated us like family and very concerned about all our needs. Comfortable beds - clean. Great food! Nick and Neatty were fantastic. Recommend 100 percent. USA family

Stayed for three nights at Chare Close. Such a lovely warm welcome and spotlessly clean.The breakfast gave us a good start to the day. The open fire in the lounge was most welcome on our return. Nick and Annette are very knowledgeable of the local area and Hadrian's wall, which we walked to from the B&B.

Close to the rail station and the main commercial area,including the TI. The room was spacious and clean, Nick and Annette were very welcoming. Nick took us to the train station in the rain on the day of our departure, which we were very grateful.

This is a beautifully maintained B&B. The room that I stayed in was in perfect condition. There was plenty of storage space and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended stopover on the Hadrian's Wall cycle route. Very welcoming and nice spacious clean room where we spread out all our cycling clutter.
