We loved this place. It is pretty in pictures and even more so in person. Every little detail is here: lovely grounds, great location to Hadrian's wall, great full breakfast, friendly and helpful hostess, and great company from other guests at breakfast. The room was spotless and had many little extras. Good little drinks and snacks, great shower room, vaulted... More

Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. They were cleaned and tidied every day. Great tea and coffee making, especially welcome after walking the entire day! Wydon Farm is a working farm and we enjoyed walking through flocks of sheep on our way to Haltwhistle. The location is nice and quiet. Our hosts - although extremely busy - were very friendly and... Visiting Hadrian's Wall for a couple of days with my son, Oliver. He found the B&B on web and so we booked in. A delightful self contained bedroom, 2 armchairs, one kingsize bed and one single bed. Wonderful wet room. TV, all mod cons, and even our own private courtyard at the back. Smart bedlinen and comfy beds. Quiet and... More

We took two of our grandchildren to see Hadrian s Wall. We stayed in the Willow Room and the girls in the Bluebell Room. The special things are as follows. Linda who is so warm and friendly and loves looking after the guests. The rooms as well as being spotlessly clean and spacious are fitted with so many things for... More

We weren't expecting a B&B that had real character and comfort (we'd booked because of Hadrian's Wall proximity, and the photos we'd seen of the B&B don't do it justice). The style is rather traditional but all the right amenities are in place, with some welcome extras: e.g. fridge/freezer, outstanding tea and toiletry selection, with a delicious breakfast, out-of-ours friendly... The ensuite rooms were very well appointed and clean, being set in their own building gave extra privicy for both guests and host. Breakfast was served in the main farmhouse and was superb. An altogether great experience. More

only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Excellent clean and comfortable room. We stayed in the Bluebell room with a lovely welcoming pack. Fresh and tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Would recommend it as a get away treat. Especially liked the stable doors.. S Welc and R Powton More

We have just stayed 2 nights in the Bluebell room which was very clean and bright abd very well equipped. Everything we might need for our stay was provided, a welcome hospitality tray with the usual tea and coffee but also lovely biscuits, ginger beer, flavoured water and hot chocolate. The wet room had all the toiletries we needed. The... More

We wanted to explore Cumbrian countryside with Hadrian's Wall and some great walks and we could not find better place to stay to do all of that. Room was comfortable and clean and lots of information about area/things to do/pleaces to eat were available. Breakfast was a real feast and Lady owner was really helpful. Would definately come again. Thank... More

We loved our entire experience at Wydon Farm. The room was comfortable and clean. Linda and her whole family were so accommodating and kind. Very willing to answer all of our questions and help us out with maps. Loved getting to hold the lambs and pet the dog! Breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect, just a 15 minute walk...
