I honestly can not believe what has just happened. Me and my boyfriend had booked a couple of nights at the Hotel Caminhos de Santiago through a Groupon promotion, paid it all in advance. We have been wishing for this weekend for quite a while and have booked it 2 months ago. It's a long weekend in Portugal, with the... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and had dinner on one evening. Our stay was enjoyable Dinner was good and well presented. The rooms were clean well equiped and had nice veiws over the town and Castle. Negative's : Hotel reception staff, not unfriendly, just buisnesslike, with no communication. The corridors are quite dark and demuire and we... More

Hotel Caminhos de Santiago is a "strange" hotel at first sight, because of it's architecture. But, once you get in, you'll be provided all you need for a very pleasant stay. The bathroom is huge and the room very functional. We did have dinner at the hotel restaurante and the food was just legendary. I must try the wine "Monte... More

This is a design hotel in a place where normally you only get more of a classic type of hotel or rooms. The rooms are big and with a very nice bathroom. The view over the old town is amazing and the rooms on the first floor have a "sun deck" which is quite nice to see. Due to the... More

We stayed 2 nights in September, while exploring the Alentejo coast. Hotel used to be a Pousada, its new owners have built an ultra-modern annexe to the very traditional building. We found all the staff friendly and welcoming, service in the restaurant was very good. All the staff spoken some English. Food was very good and everything had an unusual... More

We stayed in a double room which was very comfortable, with loads of space for our travel bags. I think the hotel is not expensive for all the amenities that the hotel have. If you want to rest for a couple of days this hotel is great, although I don’t recommend it for more than 2 or 3 nights, because... More

We traveled during July through Portugal and stayed in this hotel during 3 nights. It is a beautiful modern building with magnificient views over Santiago do Cacem. Great sunsets from the room and terrace. Very good service, nice staff and child friendly, I definitely recomend it. Only a little bit overpriced (at least during the summer) More
