Visited July 2012. We live in Stavanger, but had not visited this area towards Oslo previously. The hotel (actually more a collection of restored buildings) is extremely peaceful. Rooms are excellent, service very personal, location great - but you need a car. Not the place to stay if you want hotel chain style 24 hour coffee shop and room service.... More
