I stayed in Castello di Meleto for a few days last autumn. Its location on a typical tuscan hill is spectacular, however the castle itself is rather run down and fortunately we were accomodated in the modern bungalows around it. Food was pretty dissappointing - it would arrive cold on the table and it was pretty bland. more

The reception closes at 7 pm. After 7 pm you cannot get any service or help. They don't even answer the phone! Rooms are very! modest and simple!
