A lifelong dream was fulfilled after spending five glorious nights in the heart of Tuscany at the enchanting Borgo Argenina Bed and breakfast, owned and operated by lovely Elena Nappa. Rarely are my expectations exceeded, but this experience was truly magical - right from the very moment we were greeted by Elena herself. We immediately felt welcomed into her home... More

Pictures cannot do justice to the B&B and the Chianti region around it. It's so beautiful. Elena keeps the Italian traditions alive here and works hard to make sure you have the chance to see all the hidden gem cities that are so close by. She sits down with you when you arrive with a glass of wine and a... More

My daughter and I recently toured Europe. The highlight of my vacation were the days and nights we spent at Borgo Argenina. Driving through the countryside from Florence was amazing. The scenery, the villages, the winding roads all prepped up for something special. Immediately on arrival I felt I was "at home". I was enchanted to be greeted by the... More

Borgo Argenina e perfetto. I hope I said that right. Elena Nappa’s wonderful, wonderful place in Chianti was the highlight of our 2 1/2 week trip to Italy. From the dogs who met us at our car and escorted us to Elena’s door, to the cooking class and dinner in Elean’s kitchen featuring the best Bolognese I have ever eaten... More

We received a heartwarming greeting from Elene. She was so gracious and welcoming we felt right at home and we wish we could have stayed a month. The views from this lovely Hamlet are spectacular over vast fields of vineyards and distant hills with other hamlets and towns begging to be explored. This little hamlet is so beautiful we found... I cannot adequately express how incredible Borgo Argenina was. Every detail was perfect! The rooms, the hand-made quilts, the flowers, the dogs, the soaps, the breakfast, the service - and wow, the VIEW. If heaven is like this, I'm going to be good from now on. Elena is the host, and she is quite the (wonderful) character. As the other... More

We traveled 10 days in Italy and Borgo Argenina tucked away in the hills of the Chianti region was the best by far!!! It sits high up on a hill in the middle of a vineyard. The property, the stone houses, the gardens everything was just what you would think Italy would be about. The graciousness of Elena in sharing... More

Elena welcomed us upon our arrival with a glass of Chianti and wonderful information about the area. She is an absolute pleasure to be around. She made us feel at home and was so welcoming and very nice. The... More

We spent one glorious week at Borgo Argenina and will definitely return someday. We were looking for an experience that was truly authentic of the region and this lovely hamelt is that and more. We went in early Sept. and had fabulous weather...a little hotter than usual that particular Sept. according to the locals. The owner, Elena is a wonderful... More

Borgo Argenina is GORGEOUS. The view, the grounds, the accommodations, everything. The location is perfect and a great place to jump to Florence, Sienna, etc... We stayed in the Villa Oliviera and we loved the little house. It was very stylish and comfortable. The owner, Elena, takes the time to sit with you upon your arrival to go over a... More
