Whereas the old city of Gallipolli is located on a separate peninsula; this hotel is just off the main road leading to the peninsula. Somewhat hiding in a living area with restricted parking options there is a very nice small scale hotel with a very modern, luxerous interior.
Eco-friendly equipment/materials are used whenever possible.
Perhaps somewhat difficult, but still outstanding...

I have just spent four nights in Hotel 33 Baroni in Gallipoli. Well located, just off the main Corso Roma, it is not in the Centro Storico, but only a 10 minute stroll away. Very modern furnished hotel. Extreamly clean bedlinnen. Very nice staff, although not everybody speaks fluent English, but enough to communicate.
Nice breakfast, but they should improve their coffee, it is not freshly roasted, but we are perhaps a little bit spoilt here in Australia with our coffee culture.
Overall worth visiting and try oysters on the Fishmarkets.
