Lu Ellen appartments is the worst appartment ever...nuttin ever worked in our appartment, the lock was dodgy, hardly no kitchen faclities, we had to pay for our A/C. it was such a rip off as it kept switching on and off.we stayed for a week and our bed sheets were never changed..the cleaner kame 3 times jus to empty the bin..we were only provided with one towel and toilet paper on arrival. Thereafter we were expected to pay 3 euros for a towel! watsss that about?.. the maria lady whoo is the receptionist/person who fixes the boiler/AC/television/works in the appartment shop was quite rude.dnt ever gooo to LU ELLEN! i noo itss budget, jus pay a bit extra for sumting 100times better more

I was looking for reviews on Lu-Ellen apartments in Malia, before I left on 29th June 2008. However I could not find any in depth reviews on the hotel. Now on my return from staying at the hotel I am leaving this review so others may make an informed decesion.

Lu-Ellen is in the old Malia town, however this is very close to the strip where all the bars, clubs and restraunts are based, but still far enough away so u dont get distuberd from the night revellers, its probably an 8-10 min walk to the strip from the hotel.

No one seems to walk anywhere apart from a few people. The best way to get around the island is on a quad bike or a moped, which can be hired from a Place om the strip called HERMES. This is the one next to the MC DONALDS and not the on at the begining of the strip. They are owened by the same people but the boss is based at the one next to Mc Donalds and he can give you a better price. (make sure to pay for the bike and the 100% isurance price, which... more
