We stayed with Tobias and Marcus for a couple of days, including New Year's Eve. It was an experience that I doubt we could re-create anywhere. T & M were brilliant hosts; they were efficient and very friendly. Special compliment also for Tetenda (sorry if mis-spelled). The location is ideal, and Mont St Jean itself is well worth an exploratory... More

My wife and I spent the last few days of 2010 in this wonderful little chateau in the middle of Burgundy. The owners, Tobias and Marco, could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. The room was cozy with a great view over the fields, and the guest sitting areas and the small dining room were very comfortable as... More

We spent one night. The chateau and surroundings are beautiful. The owners are very helpful and speak English. The room was adorable and the bed very comfortable. The only minor problem was that the wifi didn't work in our room on the top floor. More

We spent 2 nights in the Bed and Breakfast Les Roches in November this year. The village is very nice and views from the place are gorgeous. The diner we had there was as well very good, with efficient table service. The room was large (French standards) and clean. One of the owner was nice and helpful when it takes... More

Wow! We loved this hotel so much just had to write a review. For us, the things that make the biggest impact are three fold. 1. Location. What a stunning view and the gardens are just beautiful and so well cared for - really beautiful. 2. Quality of features rooms, cleanliness etc .. wonderful comfortable beds, beautiful furniture and immaculately... More

We stayed here for 8 nights in late July this year - couple in 60s. We'd hoped to have another couple for the whole time but we were in fact alone for 5 nights. The website photos don't do the place justice. It's plain on the outside but the inside is terrific. If you like to cook the kitchen is... More

We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage (gite) for the last week of July. The web pictures don't do this justice - the cottage has been really well refurbished in a very modern style with a boutique French twist. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms & a well equipped kitchen. Good neat touch with a welcome pack of goodies including milk, cheese, ham,... More

We hired the gardeners cottage for 10 days and used this as our base to explore the area. It was the perfect location, quiet and peaceful but with interesting day trips in all directions. It is well designed for two couples with both bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. The kitchen and living area is spacious and equipped with everything you... More

This B&B could be excellent. However, there was no welcome and the owners looked tired. They kept out of the way. Rooms were spacious and well decorated and beds were extremely comfortable. A blocked shower was fixed instantly. The interns tried to make us feel welcome and served us drinks and waited at dinner and breakfast to the best of... More

I have to say I was quite disappointed in Chateau Les Roches. The building itself was fine, but I was expecting a welcome from the hosts, or at least an introduction would have been good. We have a business which involves taking small groups of people on a guided tour in Europe, so we are always looking for attractive accommodation... More

We try to meet and greet all our guests when possible but the reality is that we also need to go shopping for food, do various errands for the business, meet with friends, etc. but we do ensure that we have someone (in this case interns from Swiss hotel management schools) occupying our front desk to welcome our expected guests,...
