We spent six nights here in january. It all looks fantastic, with six large chalets semi-circled round the pool and bar which meant only the 6th room - cinnamon - had direct access to the beach. We were next in jasmine and were badly attcked by mosquitoes, outside and inside the room and even inside the mosquito net. Although the... More

We stayed in The Palms for three nights. It is a wonderful, luxurious hotel with every amenity imaginable. This hotel was recommended to us by Simon Gluckman of Intrepid Expeditions. More

We stayed at the Palms for the last weeek on our Honeymoon. We could not have been looked after better. Judging by some previous reviews they clearly have changed the manager as we were warmly greeted by managers Udd from Switzerland (hope correct sp.) and Siriak. They were both charming, friendly, helpful and efficient throughout. The rest of the staff... More

Phenomenal service, beautiful hotel - there is not a single criticism I could give the Palms. From the delicious, made to order, breakfast to the sundown cocktail brought to your villa, the Palms thought of everything to make our holiday as memorable as possible. For the more active members of my party, there was windsurfing, scuba diving, dolphin boat tours... More

I am a Pure Zanzibar agent stayed at the Palms in November 2011 and was extremely impressed with everything, no exceptions and nothing I could criticize. The rooms are old colonial style, large and very homely, making you feel at home within minutes. With only 6 villas you get great service from the most friendly, relaxed, yet professional staff I... If you happen to go to Zanzibar island there are quite a few nice places but one of them is certainly "The Palms"-bedded in between their sister hotels "Breezes Beach Club" and "Baraza" we fell in love with the smallest and cosiest of them. The beach is one of the best we've been so far (and there have been many... More

Did a week in the bush chasing wild beasts, and flew to the Palms a little worried that the resort would not be what we were hoping for. Wrong! What a wonderful property, staff and setting. We could not have asked for more. The service was generally off the chart, they need to work on the bar staff and their... More

I stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon for 10 nights. From the moment we arrived at this 6 bungalow exclusive resort we were pampered to the finest degree. All of the staff were very attentive, making sure to chat to us every day whilst also keeping their distance to maintain our privacy. The beachside banda is perfect for... More

We spent a week at the Palms and it was simply a wonderful experience from start to finish. This tiny 6 room resort provides a superbly relaxing environment with the every-present, but unobtrusive, staff always ready to provide whatever is required with a smile. The accomodation was superb and the location on the beach ideal. The management worked hard to... More
