Staff are well trained and are sincerely warm and service oriented. The location is far enough out of city to be quiet but a short taxi ride into the city. Only one small issue and that is that a live band plays all the time in the evenings in the main lounge area making it difficult to carry on conversations.

Overall service and cleanliness has improved since the last time I stayed at the Novotel Suva. Overall room cleanliness needs further improvement. Bathroom has stains on the walls. Recently stayed here whilst on a cricket trip, excellent property outside the hustle of downtown Suva. Very tranquil and right on Lami Bay, the views from the refurbished rooms upstairs are amazing, especially early morning and late evening. Great location, very comfortable rooms, awesome setting. I stay here fairly regularly and see improvements each time I come back. Staff recognise me and I am made to feel welcome. Gym is modern and nicely air conditioned. Incredible waking up looking out over the water.

On the whole my stay in this hotel was most enjoyable there are only a couple of things that let it down. I found the service at the front desk a little cold and even though the guy that was checking us out was friendly he didn't have a clue what he was doing and it took over 30 minutes... More
