Reine Rorbuer was fantastic. We were 4 couples that stayed a weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. The scenery is breathtaking, the rorbuer we stayed in, Aksel and Brodtkorb ,were wonderful, the food excellent and the staff service- minded and friendly. Plenty to do, try to climb Reinebringen, walk Nesland-Nusfjord, go ocean fishing or take a RIB trip spotting... More

Reine Rorbuer are red cabins on the Lofoten coast, some on stilts right in the water. This little town is so pretty you won't believe it. Surrounded by peak mountains going right into the sea. Kayaking in crystal clear turquoise waters, photo ops galore, good cod and halibut dinners.

We stayed 3 nights in cabin 15 Niels. Located in stunning surroundings it's a good base for photographers. Cabin 15 is on the north of the peninsula at the water's edge and has brilliant views from the living room. The cabin was clean and cosy and was well heated (by electricity) against the biting arctic weather. There was wifi available... More

This place was for us SO LOVELY. If I remember we stayed in house: NILS. We made the order long time in advance (10 month before) since it's very popular. The houses are old but the bathroom is renovated. We had 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a livingroom. The house is standing on pilar's in the water and you can outside... More

I stayed two nights in a cabin that was very clean, simple but confortable enough for one person, perhaps too small for two people, Two bunk beds, a small table, nice bathroom and shower, some shelves for storing clothes and stuff. Considering the prices in Norway in general and in the Lofoten in particular, good value for money. The attached... More

I share all the positive things said about this place. We stayed in Gro - the cabin with three bedrooms at the very end of the peninsula so it faces four ways - to the seawall, the harbour, and out across the fjord (also back to the land but that was least interesting!). It has the room where fishermen used... More

A well run and pretty place in the fantastic town of Reine. Also, if you drop your ethical concerns you can try hvalgryte here... Our food was excellent and the central location is very convenient for arranging activities.

We spent thee days in this beautiful rorbuer. The location is perfect. You may enjoy the mid-night sun from there, eveything has golden color at that moment... The rorbuer is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen. That is the place worthy of staying longer.

Reine is a most beautiful place to stay in the heart of the scenic southern Lofoten Islands. Cars can be hired at the nearby Moskenes ferry terminal and, for those without a car, it is easier to reach than most other options in the area, as buses (including some from Svolvær and Narvik) go right in and stop within yards... We travelled throughout the Lofoten Islands recently and were shocked to pay $400 USD for this location. While it is quaint and the location is lovely on the harbour, it is definitely not worth the price, especially compared to the other places we stayed in Lofoten. They even have the nerve to charge you $15 per person for breakfast on top... More
