We chose to stay here partly because there did not seem a decent hotel room availbale at Bonifacio town centre at the time of our visit but mostly because this place housed a good restaurant. However, on arriving, the lady at the reception told us the restaurant was closed and the chef was on holiday. When I asked her for... More

A Cheda is a fantastic place to stay in Bonifacio, Corsica. The gardens, the care with nature, the food, and most specially the people always ready to make you feel good is a great combination. We had last minute problems with our transfer to Ajaccio airport and the A Cheda management promptly offered to take us in their own vehicle... More

We stumbled on this LOVELY hotel very close to Bonifacio in the south of the island. Acheda Hotel De Charme comprises a converted farm and buildings. The rooms/suites were rustic but very well equipped indeed and a true 4 star standard. The staff are totally charming, the setting gorgeous and the restaurant should be Michelin starred (if it's not already,... More

Such a lovely hotel but i do agree with the previous comment only if you have a car - which i think you would be crazy to go to Corsica without a car there are so many places to visit which you can only really drive to. We stayed in a loft style apartment and it was really spacious clean... More

Very helpful staff, good location (if you have a car), clean and specious rooms. Breakfast and dinner on a lovely terasse! Dinner a bit overpriced. You can eat much better in Bonifacio for the same price range. More

My husband and I stayed in one of the Cosy Rooms at the Hotel Acheda. The room was delightful - nicely decorated and had all the amenities that we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The setting of the hotel is gorgeous - beautiful gardens. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, otherwise it would... More

Think twice before confirming your reservation, you must pay your visit in advance ! Heads up on the following surprises : - This may well be the only "4" star hotel next to a camping. - Expect a "show me the money" attitude from the unprofessional management - Disappointing service (or lack there of) - Despite the beautiful website, rooms... As a previous reviewer noted, the service was essentially non-existent. The rooms were literally created from an old barn and were dark and cave-like. When i mentioned to the receptionist that the room seemed like a cave, she said it was a "grotto." The bathroom was fairly well done, but the water in the shower was only luke warm. There... More

We had a lovely stay at this hotel - the last 2 nights of our holiday. The staff were friendly from the start and went out of their way to be helpful when we needed it. The restaurant was great and despite testing out lots of different restaurants around Corsica on our 2 week holiday our best meals were here... More

We were recommended this Hotel by some friends who had stayed there a few years before and although there wasn’t a major problem, it wasn’t the most relaxing of holidays. The Hotel is rated a 2 star and the restaurant and some of the facilities area good but the rooms are a real let down. We had the room opposite... More
