This is a lovel little hotel right in the middle of the old city - we were here for 4 days, using it as a base for touring the southern half of Corsica. I think we had the only room with a sea view - however this was a small square porthole cut into the wall above the bed with... More

We made an overnight trip to Corsica from Sardinia (€76 for 2 foot passengers). The town of Bonifacio is quite small with the harbour surrounded by restaurants and shops then the town itself nestling at the top of the hill (steep walk but there’s a little train that takes you up and down (€5 return) . The town is well... More

The Trip Advisor reviews entised us to Colomba hotel but we found it inappropriate for us who spoke only English. A Trip Advisor reviewer in July 2009 found a front desk lady there who spoke fluent English - she is obviously long gone. In checking in we were told in a few memorized words, "no one here speaks English -... More

Wonderful small hotel with three family owned delicious restaurants down the street that we'd highly recommend along with the hotel. The room we had was charmingly decorated. The young woman at the desk was so friendly and very helpful. Parking was available in a private lot. While there are well marked directional signs to the hotel, the streets in the... More

We stayed here for one night and had a room on the top floor so it was nice and quiet. Well decoarated room with a really nice spacious bathroom which was quite unusual for the hotels we stayed in during our trip to Corsica and also the only hotel which had breakfast included in the room price. Would definately recommend... More

Most friendly, kind staff we encountered during our two weeks in Corsica. Charming, clean rooms with lovely decor. There is a little TV/lounge area in hotel reception and the breakfast room is beautiful. Breakfast is nice - the only place in Corsica that served local jams and honey with the pastries. Easy walking distance to everything. Thanks for a lovely... More

Hard to find by car. Probably best to ring reception before arriving and ask for details of where to find their car park (about 200 yards from hotel) and the code you need to gain entry. Lovely room for breakfast. Very central but can be noisy and being old building, it felt prtetty claustorphobic, especially in the room More

Managed to get a room here for 3 days in peak season when most places had been booked out. Due to being peak season it was abit above our budget. Hotel prices in Corsica in peak summer are crazy everywhere so in comparision it was great value. The reception girls were extemely friendly and helpful and the free hotel reserved... More

This was our first trip to Bonifacio. The streets around the hotel are narrow and one-way and a little tricky. We parked our car on one of the main streets and walked to the hotel. We were immediately greeted by a really friendly host, Jacque. He asked us where we parked and as soon as we told him where our... More

Helpful, upbeat staff spoke English, French and Italian. Great location in the Haute Ville (Citadel) of Bonifacio, meters from l'Escalier du Roi. Parking in gated area (which is a relief since parking in Haute Ville is a nightmare usually). Ambiance feels like a cozy Bed & Breakfast...with books, newspapers, chess game set, in the lobby area. Small restaurant for breakfast.... More
