I made my hotel reservation online and paid a 10% deposit through credit card. A staff texted me confirming my reservation and welcoming our group to the hotel. Excellent coordination. We chose the deluxe room with 2 beds enough for four people. Rate was P2,840 for 4 pax, affordable enough for a beautiful hotel as Java. There was a balcony in... More

Have been to Laoag City numerous times and stayed at numerous hotels. The Java Hotel is by far the best in service, hospitality, condition of amenities. The Eagles Nest Restaurant is attached to the premises providing guests and locals alike, wonderful service. The guest rooms were clean and functional. The bellman ran out to greet us and take our baggage... More

We walked in off the street to Java to make our reservation. After a month of hard beds and cold showers, the room looked like paradise to me. The front desk people were pretty good, but the waitresses in the restaurant were not. There was always something wrong, from forgetting the drinks, to messing up the order. We would ask... More

Despite having read the negative gas station comments and it being not in the center of Laoag proper, I proceeded in booking this hotel. And unfortunately, I am generally more unsatisfied due to: (1) My dinner at Eagles' Nest (hotel's restaurant) took more than1 hour to serve & prices were quite high for what we ate; (2) wifi was totally... We had planned a trip to Northern Luzon at Christmas time, and our final stop was in Laoag. There are a lot of sites to see both north and south of the city, so our three nights there were perfect for our sightseeing adventures. We were aware of the Caltex gas station in front of the hotel, but until you... More

Java is one of the best hotels in Laoag. It's our first time to visit Ilocos and having Java as our accommodation was really a fantabulous trip. Room is great, they have a balcony where you can smoke. Beds, A/C, H/C shower are great. Foods are awesome, they have this complimentary breakfast for two people per room. They have also... More

Booked our stay in this hotel because a friend highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. Its design from the outside looked as if your in indonesia with thatched dome roofs. The rooms itself were quite modern although the walls and ceilings were also like woven mats. The room was spacious and there were 2 double beds as i requested. The... More

Travelled here August 2011. This place is elegant, pleasant, beautiful, and lovely. This is one of the newer hotels in Laoag. It is a modern hotel with modern amenities (pool) but at the same time gives an exotic vibe because of its design and decoration. I noticed that the design of the hotel was inspired by the Paoay Church having... More

When I first read about the gas station infront of the hotel, I was a little worried. But my friends and I still decided to check in and stay here because of its exceptional architecture and good reviews. It wasn't a mistake. The hotel is unique and beautiful! Staff were very warm and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious..... More

A hotel front of gas station is my very first impression. Rooms were dusty and service was average. Plenty trainees i think. Design was Moroccan and unique. Small pool but they had rock climbing and was interesting. The back is grass fields. Lacks view. Might consider looking for another hotel next time around. More
