My wife and I stayed at the Heritage for 1 week in early November 09. Our arrival was well managed by guest relations, although we were in a 6000 series room at one end of the resort (bordering Le Telfair) and on the 2nd floor our room was nice enough and kept clean and tidy by Ash throughout our stay.... more

This hotel is perfect - rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with great toiletries, slippers, robes etc. Staff and service outstanding, attentive without being over the top. Beautiful spa - sauna, jacuzzi, steam room etc. all included in the price. Free bike hire to explore the local area, which is particularly beautiful in the south of the island. Luxurious vegetation, perfect beach, stunning gold course, everything you need for a complete relaxed holitday. The mauritian people are stunning, nothing too much, always smiling and ready tp help and so gentle, its relaxing being among them. This is my 4th stay at the Heritage Awali - and I was not disappointed, It is such a beautiful hotel, with the most fabulous staff. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were superb and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend a visit to Le Chateau for an evening meal - such a beautiful and romantic setting.... more
