We enjoyed total luxury while being able to experience 'real Africa' . Ol lentille is a fantastic place to escape from everything. It has a special atmosphere...spiritual almost. The opportunity to become involved in the local community was a big part of its charm. The facilities are first class right down to the taps and wash basins !!. The food... More

We spent few days in Ol-lentille and the experience has being wonderful. The food, the people, the house, the spa was simply perfect. But what really makes the difference is the place where this lodge is placed. In the middle of the African wildness, and from the top of the mountain you see nothing but Wild Africa itself. My kids... More

My friend and I began our month long trip to Africa at Ol Lentille in Laikipia and what an amazing introduction to our Adventure it was! We were greeted at the airport by our Masai Warrior Guide, Solomon who couldn't have been more congenial and made us feel immediately at ease. When we got to the lodge, we were greeted... More

We recently completed a three week visit to Kenya and Northern Tanzania and stayed at some of the finest camps and lodgings along the way. My husband and I agree, without question, that Ol Lentille was the highlight of our adventure. We took a charter with Tropic Air to Nanyuki (rather than to the Ol Lentille air strip which we... More

In 2011 I was again privileged to be able to return to The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille for my third visit and again the lodge surpassed all expectations. Chef Augustine's culinary delights were even better than we remembered, nothing was too much trouble for him, wether it was a smart dinner in the library, a picnic when we were visiting... More

We started with a one night stay in the wonderful Fairview hotel in Nairobi. The next morning we took a small plane to Nanyuki airport - All organised by our host, John Elias at Ol-Lentille. We were met by Timothy Ole Mosiany, a beautiful, traditionally dressed, Maasai guide. The three hour journey to Ol-Lentille was not to be missed. It... More

I am very sorry that your stay here was marred by these problems. I confess a little surprise at the tone of your review as I felt upon your departure that your husband, as well as the other guests were particularly enthused by their time here. Nevertheless, you are right we were having problems with both our solar power and... More

We visited The sanctuary in November 2011. The wilderness that surrounds Ol - Lentille is immense, magnificent and refreshing. The lodge itself is luxurious, inspired and inspriring and better management and service are not to be found elsewhere, including in Monte Carlo where we lived for many years. Herewith some of our thoughts prompted by our visit: Magnificent madness Irresistible... More

When our family of four arrived at the Sanctuary at Ol Lentille, we were wiped out. We'd flown from Atlanta to Amsterdam to Nairobi, then took a five person plane to Nanyuki. Camels scattered from the runway as we landed, and David, our Maasai guide representing Ol Lentille, waited for us with a big smile. We drove for about thirty... More

We found Ol Lentille through Paradizo.com and we indeed experienced one of our best vacation weeks ever. The accomodation was simply amazing were you could see elefants passing by through the panorama window from the shower. The food and wine was excellent and the friendliness of the staff really etraordinary. It was also great to get up in the morning... More
