We returned to Sirikoi six months after our first visit and had an even richer experience. Rather than visit a series of camps, we decided to spend five nights at Sirikoi. We would have stayed longer but the camp was closing briefly for the wedding of one of the owners' daughter. Despite the logistics of organising this event in the... More

My husband and I visited Kenya for the first time in September 2011 - Amboseli, Masai Mara, and Lewa Conservancy at the beautiful Sirikoi. While we had wonderful experiences at all three, Sirikoi really stood out as the exceptional and most memorable, and we vowed to return. So when a small break appeared in our schedule in March (and it... More

This review is long overdue so my apologies. However, perhaps just the sheer fact that my vacation was in July 21, 2011 and I still want to write a review for Sirikoi should really mean something. We (family of four, two adults and two teenage girls ages 17 and 15) stayed at Sirikoi as our second stop on a 15-day... More

The camp is very luxurious , with large open lounges, luxurious rooms with fireplaces for the chilly evenings. Wildlife comes to you , elephants, buffaloes, antelope , lion and cheetah and more! Food is excellent , and large choice of wines and spirits for those in need. Unfortunately Kenya wildlife service who should be busy with anti poaching are taking... More

The first time to Kenya started on a high note. We travelled from Jamaica over two days to get to Sirikoi. Fortunately, I travel light and my one small bag went on a different plane from Nairobi to Nanyuki but met me at Sirikoi a day later. After landing on a grass strip we were quickly met by Michael and... More

Fantastic permanent tented camp along a small river with a pond that draws the animals in. Small fireplaces in the tents warm the nights, while dining under the stars is warmed by a fire pit and small braziers. Fabulous game. More

We went for a two night safari to Sirikoi! It is a stunning place, beautiful located. Our Safari couldn't have been better. Being the only car and we saw the big five in 2 hours! Beautiful! The Lodge is very well planned and the interior is perfect, the tents is very private located and comfi beds! The food was very... More

My husband and I spent 3 glorious days and nights at Sirikoi in mid-September 2011, and my only disappointment is that we didn't book a week. Absolutely stunningly beautiful camp with huge, luxurious, comfortable tents (king size beds, massive rainshower AND romantic claw-foot tub, and even a fireplace set into one stuccoed tent wall, where glowing coals greet you when... When our safari planner - the excellent George Gituku of Custom Safaris - recommended Sirikoi Camp, our first impulse was that it was too luxurious for our tastes and attract a rather posh clientele more interested in hours by the pool than the local culture and wildlife. When he assured us that it would be our favorite stop on our... More

We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights at sirikoi recently. Wow! From the moment you arrive this is one impressive lodge. Even though they have been through a terrible drought (that has lingered for sometime) there is still an abundance of wildlife around the camp. Given they have plenty of water out the front of the camp in some... More
