As other reviewers have noted, the "lodge" is actually a series of tent cabins scattered around the hillsides. the scenery in yosemite is breathtaking and you will need to remain in shape to explore all of the parks hikes. only 6% of yosemite is seen by the road, so plan on some major walking if staying there.
