The hotel is near the lake, with views of the mountains. We had a cabin which was comfortable, but be warned the walls were thin. We're not campers. But, we rented one of the cabins and felt like we were ... kinda... camping out. Our cabin was across the road from a wooded area and we frequently saw wildlife. The Yellowstone Lake Hotel charged us about $300 per night for a room that was small, old, broken-down and needed painting badly. The window screen had holes in it so it could not be opened.
