We were in Yellowstone 3 years ago but could not get a room at the Inn. This time I made reservations in April for a room .One must keep in mind this is a historic Inn not a modern INN with hot tub and all the "other trimmings". Xanterra seems to take advantage of their monopoly and the prices are very high (double) compared to the town accomodation just outside Yellowstone. But still we choose to stay here as the amount of driving is substantailly lessened by staying in the park. The room was fine - 2 double beds, bath and good heating. This a Natinal Park property.... you stay here beacuse of the history and the location not for Service or luxury. Hotel doesn't have TV's..... you are here to see the Park not sit in a hotel room.
