After being bumped from the Historic Copper Center Lodge, they found me this little place that was wonderful! I was greeted by the nicest man. Who right away said, that the place was basically mine. It was small, but very cozy. It's enough for a family of four, a couple and 2 children. They provide breakfast: cereal, milk, coffee, bread,... More

Arrived to a wonderful selection of muffins, waffles, cereals and coffees all ready for breakfast. Couldn't ask for more there. The accommodation itself had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed! We found our whole stay heredity relaxing and really enjoyed feeling like we had our own little cabin in the valley. It was lovely! More

We had a wonderful one night stay at this B&B. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our second night due to a change in itinerary. Received a full refund despite less than 24 hours notice. Would definitely recommend this if you are in the area, the setup is perfect. Loved the waffles for breakfast as well! More

The guest facility is on the first floor of a log house built by the owners, whose living quarters are upstairs. Guests have two spacious rooms, plus a bath, all very modern and comfortable. The kitchen/living area was well-stocked with breakfast foods (cereal, milk, breads, fruit, yogurt) which allowed us to eat on our own schedule. This is a very... More

It was a real treat to stay here... beautiful log home, quiet, clean, and very nice owners. I would highly recommend making this a stop on your way to Valdez. More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July 2009. We arrived in the early evening and the owner was not present a the time but a note had been left on the front door for us. The private suite is just inside to the left so we had no problem moving in. The Good: The owner provided... More

Sawing Logzz is a warm and inviting B&B in a nearly "bush" Alaska setting, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The B&B is a small in-law unit in a modern log home that belongs to a charming local couple, Gary and LuAnn Mullen. The unit offers privacy and has it's own entrance which opens to a private... More

I spent seven days living at the the Sawing Logzz Bed and Breakfast while conducting research at the nearby Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. I write "living" rather than "staying" because your time here feels like you are at home rather than at some cold and foreign hotel. Indeed, everything about my experience was wonderful, from the well-appointed rustic ambiance that... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Sawing Logzz Bed and Breakfast and absolutely loved it ! The log home is beautiful and our private suite was just perfect. It was very quiet, clean, warm and cozy. The kitchenette was well stocked with yummy breakfast foods and various snacks and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owners... More

We stayed at Sawing Logzz B&B on 2 non-consecutive nights, with a stay at another hotel in between, which was very convenient for us. Most B&Bs would not have done this as they usually require consecutive 2 nights. The owner also was very helpful in getting us late night reservations on a van shuttle to a NP for the next... More
