A very nice Hampton Inn with an excellent location at the entrance to the Vicksburg battlefield. My king suite room was very nice and the popcorn that I could fix for a late evening snack was a nice touch. The hotel also has free wireless with no password requirement which is always a plus. The only drawback was that at... More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn Vicksburg. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. Clearly, as a chain hotel, it lacks a little in terms of character and charm, but other than this, it was hard to fault. It is located across the road from the National Military Park and a very short drive from the... More

Visiting the grandchildren for Christmas; reservations were made both coming and going (Dec and Jan); easy location to access; very convenient to dining establishments;exceptional courtesy from hotel staff; and a very nice room - quiet, clean. Love the "Transporter Racks" for moving luggage; and the cooks...a relaxed breakfast before resuming travels prepared by some very nice people. I am a... More

Ideal positon to visit the battlefield, General Grant would have been pleased! It's a very nice hotel and friendly staff, it's easy to access the main town of vicksurg and it is set slightly off the road so it's not noisy. It was so clean and new and our room was huge with a small kitchenette and large bathroom as... More

We stayed here on our recent Civil War trip through Mississippi, and couldn't have been happier with it. It is honestly the nicest Hampton Inn we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in quite a few!). The lobby is very pretty and spacious. Our room, a studio suite on the 5th floor, was very large and comfortable for the whole... More

If you are planning to visit the Vicksburg Military National Park - this is the place to stay. It is just across the street. The Vicksburg Hampton Inn is a very nice Hampton Inn with a classy feel about it. Great pool and whirlpool, helpful staff. The rooms and breakfast are typical Hampton Inn - so nothing fancy, but nothing... More

If you want to visit the Vicksburg Civil War battlefield, this hotel is sitting on part of it....the official federal site is immediately across the highway within easy walking distance. However, this is a great place to stay even if you are not a Civil War fan. The hotel is well maintained, the service staff are great, there is an... More

We've stayed at many Hampton Inn's across the country and this one is the best! The lobby is elegant and understated. The breakfast area is set up and looks as if it were a kitchen in someone's beautiful home. There is plenty on the breakfast buffet for everyone to choose from. A really great place to stay in Vicksburg. More

This is a very nice hotel, starting from the time you walk in the front door to the beautiful entrance, to the nice and personable desk clerks, all the way up the elevator to the room. It is clean, comfortable, accommodating, and a nice play to stay. My only complaint would be, if I had one, would be the breakfast... More
