This was such a lovely surprise for us during our travels. Kilby was a wonderful host and the house was beautifully presented with gorgeous rooms and bathrooms. The small extra touches made it extra special alongside the valuable knowledge of the local area and advice on activities. Staying at the Bryn Rose was definitely a highlight of our trip. More

Lovely home in a historical area. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was most enjoyable with a wide choice. We enjoyed the little extras - drinks, sherry, cookies and a lovely big dining room to use. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful on the civil war history of the area. More

We chose the Bryn Rose Inn for our civil wedding ceremony/reception because of its convenient location, beautiful architecture, and magnificent landscape. Mrs. Kilby has vast experience in wedding planning which made our wedding stress-free. She took care of everything! She cooked all the food, baked the bride and groom's cakes, and helped decorate the place. Everything was wonderful! My wife... More

Trying to sum up our wonderful stay at the Bryn Rose isn't easy: the room was lush, the pool divine, the food amazing and Kilby is an excellent host. We stayed in the Waterford Room and it held all the comforts of home and the best hotels we've stayed at in New York and Europe. The Inn feels like it... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Bryn Rose Inn. We stayed in the Waterford Room and it was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The breakfast both days was delicious and well prepared. Kilby is a wonderful chef and you should definitly not skip breakfast. The grounds were well... More

This tutor style B&B was a pleasant surprise for our romantic weekend getaway. Located in a peaceful and quite area of Vicksburg, we especially enjoyed the plush accommodations, swimming pool and delicious breakfast (not to mention the homemade Island Cookies in our room). Kilby, our innkeeper, was especially knowledgeable of the great restaurants, museums and the Vicksburg National Military Park.... More

This lovely Tudor style Country Inn bordering Vicksburg's Military Park and battleground reminded me of the country homes and manors of Great Brittian. Our hosts, Kilby and Cliff Whitney, have lived in the area for many years, long enough to know Vicksburg's stories and history. The breakfasts here are of a variety and quality comparable to many of the best... More

The Bryn Rose owners and hosts, Kilby and Cliff Whitney, made us feel like we had known them all our lives. The warmth and beauty of the Inn and the comfort and quiet elegance of the guest rooms were a welcome respite from a rather hectic car trip with two adolescent girls. Kilby is a wonderful cook and great resource... More

We needed a place to stay with our girls, 10 and 7 and my parents. We did not want to stay in a hotel, too common. The Bryn Rose was perfect. My parents had their own room and we had a suite with an extremely comfortable sleeper sofa for the girls. The great room is large and welcoming. The other... More
