A somewhat late review, but it was such a great couple of days, the memory is very clear. We had two nights at the Belle in May last year enroute to Mexico. Mary was very helpful with information prior to our arrival, and throughout our stay. She was a wonderful hostess. We stayed in the large Josephine room which like... More

We travelled over to Vicksberg as a combined Anniversary trip and the possibiility to purchase a new car.... What a beautiful B&B, Mary was the quintessential hostess!! We had a wonderful time. Met some interesting people, the breakfasts were amazing, very relaxed and fun. The history of the home, the antiques and the amazing architecture were phenomonial!!We will go back! More

Proprietress provides the run of this gorgeous old mansion, and was extremely helpful with local recommendations - even loaning us the Vicksburg tour CD for the day. We stayed in the Josephine room (the largest), but all the rooms are equally beautiful and you can't go wrong. If interested, ask for a tour of the house. More

Having stayed at some of the usual suspects, ie big hotels, the Belle was a revelation. Run by the owner, Mary, it is quintessentially Southern. Very friendly with a good location, just about a mile outside town. We did walk into town, but was advised by a restaurantuer to get a taxi back, at $7 it was worth it. Mary... More

We were visiting from England on route to Memphis and couldn't be made more welcome. Mary took us on a tour of the house upon arrival and cooked an amazing breakfast in the morning. Vicksburg and surrounding area was fascinating. We hope to be back sometime. More

This was our first time to stay at a B & B and I don't know if any other will be able to match Ahern's Belle of the Bends. The rooms are comfortable, we enjoyed the porch swings, the food was wonderful, and Mary was the best hostess. I have never stayed at a place that made me feel so... More

We had a wonderful time here. Mary is the best hostess. Shari and I felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend the Belle of the Bends. Trains were not an issue and we were in the Azalea room. (Closest to the train tracks.) I can not imagine not staying here on a trip to Vicksburg.... More

Fascinating house; lovely friendly couple who own and run it. We wanted a taste of southern hospitality in amongst our Hiltons and Marriotts, touring the southern states, and couldn't have chosen better. Unhesitatingly and highly recommended! More
