We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip to Hawaii. It was a clean, comfortable spot to rest our head at night. It is located close to downtown Honolulu, and within walking distance of a few restaurants and shopping options. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. more

Upper floor room got severe traffic noise and vibration from Ala Moana, due to a late-discovered non-closing sliding glass window. Older construction with loud self-slamming doors. Bathroom was small but fine. Bedding seemed overly hard. Mini fridge was fine, hairdrier in room. No WiFi but wired Internet and cable movies on 27" CRT TV, but no iPod/MP3 inputs. Family of four-we stayed there for a week in march and have nothing to complain about. It was clean, the staff were helpful and polite. If you want the true Hawaiian Experience, do not stay here. Yes, the rooms are clean, but they are also small. It is not as close to the beach as the state, I believe it is because the path to the beach is blocked by a new hotel being built. The atmosphere is one of a city hotel, no paradise... more

This hotel is located on Ala Moana Blvd. so be aware that there can be street noise on that side of the hotel. Also, they are building a new hotel across the street, so the construction starts early and lasts all day.
